This is how Hypnotherapy and Brainworking recursive therapy (BWRT®) can help as; past events can play over like movies in our mind.  They can cause our own repeated story line, like old characters returning to a ‘soap opera.’  If you are weighed down, feel heavy, just can’t move forward, stuck with the same old plot, then you may need help shifting the patterns of response of the subconscious mind.

Bullying, abuse, trauma, loss, separation, criticism, failure; can create anxiety and false belief systems in adult hood that stop us forging ahead. We fear what may or may not happen, we struggle, but don’t know why; after all these events were a long time ago and not related to your life now! But they still have an effect.

My clients come to me for a variety of different reasons that result in fears and phobias, weight or health issues which they’re struggling to cope with. It is important to find out what is happening for you and what you want to achieve.

I offer a range of services and use a number of therapies to support you with the challenges you have. including Clinical HypnotherapyBWRT®, Coaching, Neuro linguistic programming and Emotional freedom technique.

The number of sessions required can be between One and 12, depending on the presenting issue and discussed at the telephone consultation. Typically, with most presenting issues I work with people for three to six sessions.

Thank you for your help over the past couple of months it really does feel a fresh start not only for my weight.  thank you again so much.

I have been working with Jo for weight loss and I am delighted with the results.   To date I have lost 15lbs (since January 1st of this year).  Yes, this is a great result and my journey continues.  However, the most beneficial gain I have experienced is that I now have full control over my food, after a life where it has controlled me.  I know what I have to do and how I have to do it.

I make my own choices.  I have a Flake if I feel like it and it doesn’t ‘ruin’ my eating, making me rush off to eat the rest of the kitchen.  I know what to eat to speed up my weight loss and I know I can take my foot off the pedal and slow down if I want to.  I am completely in control.  I feel like a ‘normal’ person for the first time in my life.  Food does not invade my every waking thought like it used to!

Today I went out and bought Easter Eggs for my family and a packet of Mars Bars.  The ‘old me’, in the past would have pigged out on at least one Egg by now and possibly a couple of the Mars Bars.  But I have no inclination towards them at all.  It’s like a miracle!   I am really proud of what I am achieving but most of all, I am grateful to Jo for her support and for helping me to achieve what I truly believed I would never achieve in my lifetime.  I now have a good relationship with food, a normal one!

Jo is fabulous! I have suffered with mental health issues for more than 10 years and after seeing Jo, I finally feel like my life is back on track. The future looks bright!

I am now sleeping eight hours a night thanks to Jo (much more than I was before we started working together!) and I feel so much calmer in general.

Hypnotherapy with Jo has changed my life more than I would have ever imagined. I now enjoy the food choices I make and, as a result, my life has become so much more positive. My general health has also improved which has helped me at work. Jo has motivated me to become the person I always wished to be. I’ve even pursued my dream of learning to ride a horse – an activity I never thought I would be able to do!

After many sessions of counselling and CBT I felt hypnotherapy was my last resort  I was a bit hesitant at first but the will for inner peace was strong. something new that was deep inside that has never been spoken about before came out in hypnotherapy with Jo, that I nor anyone close to me would have ever believed would of been an underlying issue!! I was amazed!

Thank you Jo. I have benefited so much from the sessions. I have definitely learned that relaxation is key and that it isn’t the end of the world if I pass on a cake! I am listening to my instincts and analysing them rather than following them compulsively. I’m still losing weight and I feel like you’ve set me on a path of self discovery   H  May 18
