Frequently Asked Questions & Fees

A standard session lasts up to one hour.

The first session of ‘Reset your mind, reset your life,’ is up to two hours.

The fee paid is for my time and expertise – results can vary, and no therapist can guarantee results.

My therapies are not a replacement for medical treatment or psychiatric services.

If your reason for therapy could be related to a physical health concern, then I will ask you to see your GP first.  In some circumstances, I may wish to write to your GP to let him/her know of my involvement, but I will ask for your permission first.

Confidentiality is paramount and will be maintained in all but the most exceptional circumstances.

Payment is required in advance, via invoice. BACS by arrangement.

Emergencies and illness happen, though it would be appreciated where possible for you to provide a minimum of 24 hours notice if you need to change your appointment.  Repeated cancellations will result in a charge or a forfeited appointment.

What Rapid Transformational Therapy™ (RTT™)

Rapid Transformational Therapy™ (RTT™) is the award-winning therapy combining the most beneficial principles of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, NLP, CBT, and neuroscience, harnessing the most powerful healing potential on the planet – the mind.

RTT™ continues to grow in global recognition and has proven to be one of the most effective therapies available for achieving fast and permanent results.

It is a pioneering therapy created by award winning therapist Marisa Peer, who over 30 years has used this cutting edge method to transform the lives of royalty, rock stars, Hollywood actors, Olympic athletes, CEOs, and political leaders. It combines the most effective aspects of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, Neurolinguistic Programming and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

The method addresses the foundation of the issue(s) and facilitates immediate changes by identifying the cause and then providing a solution. That when continuously applied, will have permanent results. The combination of hypnotherapy techniques provides a wonderful set of ingredients to produce a wonderful result. Combined they are equivalent to having four sessions in one.

RTT™ goes deeper and gets results faster. Outstanding results can often be achieved in just 1 to 3 sessions. It works so well because rather than treating a person’s presenting symptoms, RTT™ gets to, and removes the root cause of the issue. Negative beliefs and habits are explored and reframed, freeing the person from a lifetime of pain and enabling them to move forward in their life and achieve their goals.

RTT™ is proven to be extremely effective for a wide range of issues and can help you:

  • Break bad habits and addictions.
  • Overcome fears and phobias.
  • Relieve anxiety, stress and depression.
  • Resolve past trauma.
  • Improve relationships.
  • Gain more confidence and self-belief.
  • Improve health issues such as migraines, insomnia, allergies.
  • Shed weight.
What will I experience during hypnosis?
You will feel very relaxed and you will be able to hear me and respond throughout the session. Some people experience sensations on their skin or tingling in their hands or feet, while others see different colours or light. On awakening, most clients feel relaxed yet motivated.
Will I be asleep/unconscious during hypnosis?
No. You will be very relaxed, but you will be able to hear me and respond throughout the session. You can come out of hypnosis any time you want to.
Can I get stuck in a trance?
No. You will be able to come out of hypnosis any time you want to.
Can I be made to do things against my will or reveal secrets that I don’t want to?
No. You will always be in control and aware of what is happening. Your subconscious mind will always protect you and will prevent you from doing or saying anything that is inappropriate. You can open your eyes and end the session at any time. Clinical hypnosis is very different to stage hypnosis that you may see on the TV.
How many sessions will I need?

The Reset you mind, reset your life program, aims to resolve your issue, and create lasting change in one session.

If you have more than one issue you may require multiple sessions and/or further support to help you to achieve the changes you want to in your life.
