This really is a transformational method.  I love it as, I believe we deserve to live our life feeling great on the inside and it totally represents the experiences of the caterpillar to the butterfly.

The element of identity has often been recognised to be at the core of many psychological problems and it can be stubborn to deal with. So essentially you can be experiencing an inner image that is old, outdated, childlike or adopting a condition or symptom. This self-identity and the behaviour that you experience are locked together – almost inextricably so.

This may present in:

  • Not feeling equal or good enough
  • Fear of failure or success
  • Imposter syndrome
  • Lack of self-belief or self-worth
  • Jealousy
  • Always wanting to learn but don’t get on and do
  • Ongoing anxiety and depression
  • Eating Disorders
  • Binge eating and drinking
  • Addictions
  • Difficult relationship or school
  • OCD
  • Gambling

I am an Advanced BWRT® practitioner, which means I am trained to work with the Core identify programme. This provides a uniquely powerful and effective process for changing your self-identity and behaviour and replacing it with a positive self-identity and behaviour allowing us to work on low self-esteem & your self-identity.  Allowing other presenting behaviours and emotions to be dealt with.

Over a five sessions programme; we work to unlock the current identity to allow the new identity to emerge.  It is such a transformation.  Hence I love it, it is so like the butterfly! 

Infrequent or irregular reinforcement sessions may sometimes be required in order to strengthen the new positive self-identity and behaviour, or to support you to deal with any particularly difficult or stressful life circumstances
